Arat Furniture, based in Markham, Ontario, is owned by Sam Firoozian. With over 32 years of experience, Sam is extremely knowledgeable about Persian rugs and the craft of furniture creation. The name “Arat” derives from a mountain in Iral. As Sam loves the environment and nature, this became the name of his company. A desire to expand his business resulted in the addition of furniture, which natur

ally followed his expertise and reputation with rugs. Sam is very passionate in the design of furniture, and is extremely talented. His ultimate pleasure is seeing the final result of his design, and the pleasure of his customers. Good service, reliability and satisfaction are very important to Sam, a must in the 20th century. He dedicates himself to designing and creating furniture that is not only functional but beautiful, as well.
