Ignore your GPS, as it might get you lost. Instead, head to Markdale and go 3km WEST on Grey Road 12. Watch for signs.

Three new one-of-a-kind pieces from Stone Ridge Woodcraft.

First, in our take on Rustic/Modern...Industrial(?) is this coffee table, a polished, thick slab of live-edge Manitoba Maple, with original, untouched, rough sawmill marks on the bottom lending authenticity. This slice from a spalted tree offers gorgeous golden hues with red and a hit of grey. The three legs are reclaimed, sealed steel I-beam. Definitely a focal point of any room.

Next, a live-edge Rustic/Modern Bench. A polished seat of highly figured live-edge Walnut meets reclaimed Walnut sides edged with polished sawmill cuts. Smooth yet rugged.

And finally, a Rustic/Modern coffee/console table crafted from a polished slab of live-edge Walnut atop three cast iron legs. Suitable for placement against a wall or sofa.

In our Studio, ready to head to a new retailer later this week, are a brand new rustic bench, sleek console table, and slab coffee table I've been calling 'rustic-modern-industrial.' That is, unless someone gets them first...I'll be posting pictures later today. :-)

Ah, another glorious weekend in our part of Canada. And with that, our thoughts turn to PICNIC TABLES. Yes, that's what's keeping our Studio hopping right now.
