Carved from a single piece of yellow cedar by artist Byron Fader in 1996, Neptune overlooks the Lund Harbour and serves as the inspiration for our logo.

Neptune has historically been depicted as a human, though most modern interpretations portray him as a merfolk as seen here.

Interestingly, while our Neptune is a bit of a solitary figure here at mile 0, there is also a statue of a bronze mermaid at the other end of the road here in qathet. Known as the Emerald Princess, visitors may have a trickier time seeing her, as she rests about 60' below the surface as a popular diving attraction at Saltery Bay Provincial Park.

Handcrafted waterfront accommodations.

A spacious, (over 800 sq. feet indoors, 500 sq. feet outdoor decks) self contained guest suite situated on the harbour in Lund, BC. Formerly a simple cabin dating back to 1926, it sleeps 4 guests, in two queen beds, sharing one bath. Each part of the Lund Harbour House contains many custom crafted elements from furnishings to window trims, to the art work. A full kitchen with quality cookware, dishes and utensils, and a selection of organic teas, local coffee beans and spices allow our guests the opportunity to cook for themselves. Or they may choose to walk out the door along Lunds boardwalk for a few minutes to one of 3 eateries. And the views and sunsets from our decks, are actually the best in the harbour. Guests have described it as a calm and relaxing space, yet with all the amenities within 5 minutes walk.
