☀️ A Good Problem to Have: June Consignment Update ☀️
Hello from both I Want That Bag locations! 💛
Well... here we are again! 😊
For the second time this season, we are having to put a temporary pause on clothing drop-offs. While this isn't something we anticipated needing to do this early in the summer season, we're incredibly grateful that so many of you continue to choose us when it's time to part with your treasures. ✨
Our sorting areas, storage spaces, and processing racks are currently at capacity, and before we can responsibly accept more inventory, we need time to work through the amazing amount of merchandise that has already been entrusted to us. 🛍️
As always, our goal is to keep both stores organized, fresh, and filled with quality items that shoppers are actively looking for. Taking a short pause now helps us maintain that standard while ensuring the inventory already in our care gets properly processed, displayed, and given the attention it deserves.
We know many of you have summer items ready to bring in, and we truly appreciate your patience. 💕 We will continue to monitor inventory levels closely and will announce through our social media channels as soon as we are ready to reopen clothing intake.

Summer shopping is now in full swing, and with tourism season arriving, we're excited to welcome visitors from near and far to both our Lucknow and Wingham locations. 🚗☀️
This time of year brings new customers through our doors every week, creating wonderful opportunities for your consigned items to find new homes. 👜👗👠
Before we sign off, we'd like to share a quick reminder about what makes consignment unique.
While people often use the terms "thrift store" and "consignment shop" interchangeably, they are actually quite different. A thrift store typically receives donated items and prices them accordingly. At I Want That Bag, we sell on behalf of our consignors, which means every item in our stores belongs to someone in our community who has entrusted us to sell it for them. 🤝
Because of this, our focus is on quality, condition, style, current trends, and seasonal demand. Pricing can vary from item to item based on brand, quality, desirability, and what shoppers are currently looking for. Our goal is to create a shopping experience where customers can find quality merchandise at affordable prices while helping our consignors receive fair value for their items.
