Today I had the absolute pleasure of repairing a show piece in the Cupboards Express South Edmonton showroom. This beautiful walnut floating island top needed a little TLC after a round trip to fall homeshow, and then into storage for the winter until it arrived home at their freshly renovated showroom.
Thank you for the opportunity to stretch my repair legs on a beautiful piece.

Simple stair tread repair today. One of my better colour matches. Got to use my replacement Pyrex mixing glass. You’ll remember the previous one took a two storey free fall onto a concrete basement floor and shattered. I’ll be taking better care with this one. Was not a cheap part to replace.

A curved staircase railing took the brunt of a large mirror trying to go down the stairs. For that there’s geometry. For everything else, there’s BTTR.

Cross grain scratches can be tricky to make disappear. The dark stain on this maple railing trim made the work a little bit easier. What do you think? Barely there?
