By the time we reach this phase, every decision has been made with care. Now it is our team's turn to go to work.

We comb through every single detail, room by room, ensuring nothing is missed and nothing is left to chance. Every finish, every elevation, every specification is reviewed, confirmed, and documented with absolute precision. This is where our team's expertise and attention to detail truly shines, so that when your home is being built, there is no ambiguity. Just a clear, complete roadmap for the people bringing it to life.

Phase 03: Design Development.

By this point, we have done the deep work. The materials are pulled, the direction is set, the vision is clear. Now we sit down together and make sure every specification is exactly where it needs to be before we move forward.

This is our moment to slow down, review, and refine. We go through every detail with you, talk through what is working and what still needs to evolve, and ensure the design truly reflects what you fell in love with in Phase 02.

Nothing gets locked in until it feels right.

Phase 02 is where everything starts to feel like something.

After we've listened deeply and mapped out how you live, we begin translating all of that into a creative direction. This is our Conceptual Design phase, and it's one of the most exciting moments in any project. We're pulling references, building aesthetic direction boards, sketching early concept elevations, and presenting the ideas that will shape your home from the inside out.

This is where instincts meet intention. Where your vision and ours begin to find each other.

We move slowly here on purpose. Because the decisions made at this stage set the tone for everything that follows.

Before a single material is chosen or a finish is pulled, we start somewhere much more important. With you.

Phase 01 of the Rose & Funk process is called the Design Launch, and it’s one of our favourite parts. This is where we sit down, slow down, and really listen. We want to understand how you live, what draws you in, what you can’t stand, and what home actually means to you. We look at your plans together through an architectural lens, asking how your spaces need to work for your family, not just how they look in a rendering.

It’s equal parts discovery session and creative conversation. And everything that follows, every material, every detail, every decision, is rooted in what we learn here.
