Just like nothing happened ..... the day after hit Halifax the sky acted as if it was just a regular day... here we are 2 days later and we are thankful that the biggest thing Dorian left behind was no power . .. and we are even luckier to be one of the few that had power restored within 24 hours. .
And! The half built work ship stood up to the winds and is still standing ! Progress picks to come soon! .

Well that was a longer break we ever intended on taking.

Day twelve. We made it! Coast to coast! What a journey! It feels great to finally be here. The kids love the new house. Picked up our brand new appliances that were waiting for us. Kiaya had fun opening them and putting them in their places. The boys loved playing in the big boxes. lol. Just a few more nights in a hotel while we wait for our stuff to get here.

Day eleven. Frederickton New Brunswick! Beautiful forests, like the whole drive was forest. The trip from QC to here was like driving from autumn to winter. It was cool to see the trees change. The boys loved the snow they wouldn't stop talking about it. Last sleep till Halifax!

Day nine. Made it to Kingston. It was so nice to break up the trip and just take a day to relax with the family. It was amazing to see everyone again and the boys had an amazing time. Back on the road again now. I love how the trees are so colourful. We passed by CFB Trenton. It hit me today how far we have actually driven. Had Google maps up and just happened to zoom out. Hey we beat you home lol.

Day six. Crossed over the mighty Mississippi River today. Saw a truck stop with a funny name I couldn't help but take a pic to share. And finished off with a must! A Tribute to Harold and Kumar and all my newly legal stoner friends in Canada. I stopped and grabbed myself some white Castle for dinner.
