We are getting more requests for wood cabinetry lately and we love the warmth and visual interest that comes with this. For this kitchen, we paired the wood with soft and bright counters and matching back splash which keeps the wood elements feeling lifted.

We had the pleasure working on this project last year.

We went through a few designs and landed on this layout which offered minimal changes to their existing house layout and gained storage all while updating the look.

We couldn't be happier with the outcome! A speacial thanks to these homeowners (who we hope will see this😉). You were so fun to work with throughout the entire project!🥰

Inspo of the day.

Although it's fun to incorporate colour into a space, we understand it can feel intimidating ! 🎨 We love colours with a touch of grey to tone down the intensity. Rich woods can also help balance a more colorful hue, creating a balanced design! 😊🩵

Today is a bitter sweet one!

An important part of our team is embarking on a new adventure, and as a result, today is her last day with us (for now!)

We are so excited for Alyssha to experience a new chapter of life; becoming a mother! 🥰🎉

As a company built on women, it's special to see the range of empowerment that comes from being a woman. At Blackstone, we get to exercise our knowledge and stand strong in a male dominated industry, all while supporting each other. Although we will miss Alyssha in these regards, we know her softness and nurture will now be used in such a new and meaningful way.

Alyssha; we will miss you over the next few months and wish nothing but the best for you and Nick! We are excited to welcome you back when the time comes.❤️
