As an artisan woodworker I create heirloom quality custom furniture, home decor, and gift-ware using quality materials and time tested techniques. These pieces are crafted to last, and can be made to suit your style, your needs, and your home. Artisan craft allows

you to know where your money goes and to whom - keeping it local / domestic. Tired of throw away mass produced items - buy from an artisan. Don't want to see woods of unknown origin consumed, I only use domestic species. Try artisan, get quality, get custom see your money go into the local economy. Hi everyone,
I am posting our 2026 Studio Day flyer. . .
We won't be having one this month as the date would overlap with the 8th Annual Made in the Kawartha Lakes sponsored by the Kawartha Lakes Arts Council and held at the Armories in Lindsay, May 23rd & 24th.
As well there will be no studio day in October due to our presence at both the Buckhorn Harvest Craft Show and the Hand of Man Craft show in Peterborough . . .
We will post updates on each month's Studio Day.

Hoping everyone is surviving the wintry January we just finished.

During these turbulent times the message of , & when you can carries greater weight. When you choose to buy from a (hopefully) local maker - for that unique gift or newly discovered necessity - you pour your money back into the local economy, powering local / domestic supply chains. You also do much more. For so many makers this is what helps them survive. Often art / making is a way out for excluded and low/fixed income.
You have a weekend to spare and a local craft sale is happening, GO! You will likely be surprised and enlightened.
Please remember, craft doesn't always mean cheap & amateurish - craft is part of handcrafted, craftsmanship, the arts and crafts movement, and to craft (make, create . . .)
Art isn't just fine - its the multi-billion sector in Ontario and it includes many functional arts. At a show and you think - Nice hobby - don't voice that thought to the vendor as it's likely their living. Resist the desire to haggle - especially if you think you know what's it takes to make, you're reducing their pay check.

If you know a maker and want an easy and affordable way to support them . . . like and share their social media. If you're on social media this simple act, you promote them and show your friendship & patriotism. It should only disrupt cute cat videos, slightly 😁🤣

Looking for gift ideas . . .
We have hand turned ornaments for your tree. They can make that package special.
For the knitter or gardener – a wool bowl or hand turned dibbler.
Going to a gathering where you would like a hostess or house warming gift . . .how about a housewares package, like – Tray,cutting board & trivet.
Please remember all prices are no tax with a couple specials.
