It's been a hot minute since I last posted here! We have had a super busy summer of renovating our home, and today was the final day of the last big jobs.
Big news for Fusion Mineral Paint fans! New colors have arrived and I must say they are simply stunning! I love them all. Here is my first piece with two of the new colors. I used Hazelwood on the top of the dresser, and for the bottom, I used Cashmere. As always I'm very impressed with the quality of their products. 🤩

Before and After! My client was just so thrilled with the outcome. One of my favorite things about refinishing furniture is the wonderful people we get to meet and connect with. I met the owner of this desk set when I purchased a dresser she had posted and as we talked, we connected, we had much in common. During these trying days and being socially distanced, it just felt good to still be able to connect.

Transformation Tuesday! Just completed this fun transformation. ➡️ to see the before pics. Refinished using Fusion Mineral Paint in Raw Silk and Varathane Diamond Wood Finish in Espresso. Sealed with Fusion's clear furniture wax.

Swipe to see the before, "the bones", and the final after to our new "built in" project. Before the Covid lock downs we had planned on building a built in for our diningroom, but lock downs, social distancing, zero online stock and impossible curbside pick up forced many changes to the plan. Solution? Found items on Marketplace and 'created' our built in and all way under budget too. Painted basecoat first in Fusion's Sterling, follwed by three coats of Casement and sealed with Fusion's furniture wax. We are thrilled how it turned out!

SOLD!! Not sure why this didn't post earlier this week, but here is my big first project of 2021! I am so excited to see it completed. Numerous hours prepping, sanding, staining and painting, not to mention polishing those incredible handles! This one nearly killed our backs though moving it. It has to be THE most heaviest pieces we have done yet.
