Is Your Workplace Too Loud?
Excessive workplace noise can lead to permanent hearing damage, often before employees even notice the effects.
⚠️ Did you know?
Under Alberta Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Code, Part 16, Section 219, employers are required to conduct a noise exposure assessment when workers are, or may be, exposed to noise exceeding 82 dBA over an 8-hour equivalent exposure period.
Alberta’s occupational noise exposure limit is 85 dBA over an 8-hour equivalent exposure period.
