We are an environmentally conscious organization, and keeping our planet green for the future generations is a priority. There are dedicated recycling centres for the majority of your junk. A great amount of effort is focused towards donating the remainder of the odds and ends if possible. Reduce: All non-recyclable materials are brought to the dump to be broken down and sorted accordingly. For example, all wood, plastic, and metal will be separated and brought to dedicated recycling centres. Unfortunately not all items can be recycled but they are disposed of appropriately. Reuse: Donating is a great way to give back. We have various organizations we work with that provide us with a means to get things like furniture, clothing, and appliances to families who need it. By increasing the amount of material donated and recycled, and diverting this material away from landfills we lower our negative impact on the planet. People like you and I are starting to realize the impact we have on our planet, and consequences if we don't turn things around. But all good things come to an end. Today, it got a proper send-off thanks to the Recycle Junk crew.

Ce vieux campeur Coleman a connu de meilleurs jours — des road trips, des nuits pluvieuses, des guimauves brĂ»lĂ©es

When a hot tub turns into a wildlife condo
 đŸ›âžĄïžđŸŠđŸą

Today’s removal:
✅ 3rd floor balcony
✅ Old hot tub
✅ Surprise raccoon tenants with no plans to leave

We started cutting into it and suddenly—eyes staring back at us. Whole raccoon family chilling like they owned the place. 😳

So yeah
 instead of demolition mode, we switched to animal rescue meets junk removal.
Everyone made it out safe — raccoons and crew included.
The tub? Not so lucky. 😅

Quand un spa devient un condo pour ratons laveurs

Mission du jour :
✅ 3e Ă©tage, sur un balcon
✅ Vieux spa Ă  dĂ©monter
✅ Surprise : une petite famille de ratons bien installĂ©e

On commence Ă  couper, et lĂ  — des yeux qui nous regardent. Une famille complĂšte de ratons laveurs, relax comme si c’était chez eux. 😳

On a donc mis la démolition sur pause et on est passés en mode sauvetage animal + ramassage de junk.
Tout le monde est sorti sain et sauf — les ratons et l’équipe.
Le spa, lui
 pas trop. 😅
