💛So I went to see Trish at B/A Vintage in Newcastle, her new store is just as charming as her previous location. She is such a talented artist and I am honoured to call her my friend. How I forgot to get a picture of us together is beyond me, must be that we were too busy gabbing, thank goodness my hubby is a patient man 😂😂.
We then decided to make the treck up to Mount Bridges to Visit Brenda at Antique Allie. Brenda didn’t know we were coming and I wasn’t sure she would recognize me as we had only spoken on the phone, but surprisingly she did (I guess it helps to have a face only a mother could love) 😂😂.
She is an amazing woman with so much talent. She has a store that would make any furniture artist drool!! I was totally envious of the warehouse space she had with so many beautiful unfinished pieces just waiting to be re-loved, I was fortunate to be able purchase one of those pieces (photos to come). We apparently have the exact same taste, because I definitely would have bought so many more of those pieces if I could have fit them in my truck. She has two beautiful sideboard pieces in her showroom (one in the pics) that I am trying to convince myself that I don’t need…the struggle is real!!! I mean what’s a 7 hour drive (one way) right 😂
If you are ever in Newcastle or Mount Brydges, you have to check these ladies out!
