Fashion fabrics! More samples arrived this week for our apparel fabric sample wall. That is right, we expanded our space and have a wall of apparel fabrics you can order from. From small sample cards to full size pieces you can feel, we have something for everyone.

This week, we had more casual and dressy samples arrive. With beautiful weighted linen, soft stretch corduroy, soft and flowy gauze, and sweet cottons, you can build a lovely summer wardrobe.

Do you enjoying sewing and creating? Do you have experience with both domestic and industrial sewing machines? Do you want to learn how to use those skills to also recover furniture, make drapery, sew new boat covers and more?

We love matching up colours and helping you reimagine your furniture and room design. When we were deciding on how to remodel the seamstress studio, we pulled out our fabric samples and took them with us to match colours.

We first chose our wallpaper, and built the space off of that. The wallpaper is Maxwell Fabrics Metro in Sand. From there, we found a colour we all loved to compliment it, and it evolved into going with a 40's style. We cannot wait to show the final result. Stay tuned.

It is not just our cats and dogs that like to "play" with the furniture, even the horses like to use things as chew toys. The padding was in good shape, minus a couple that were taste tested, but the fabric needed up be changed.

Was a great change to be outside and mixing it up. We are looking forward to boat and RV season and some more outdoor type projects.
