Today we're highlighting a couple of neat hood ranges that we've done this year.

Hood ranges are an interesting component of a kitchen redesign. They fulfill a really important functional purpose by providing suitable ventilation for the space, but they can also present fun design opportunities

The first is from a rich chocolate oak kitchen that we completed last Christmas. The fan needed to be easily accessible but hidden in a way that fit seamlessly with the rest of the cabinetry. This video shows the end result.

The second was built to match an existing IKEA kitchen. Fun fact: while IKEA kitchen displays might include hood ranges, they aren't something they actually sell. The goal of this one was to elevate the new IKEA cabinets. What do you think... did we succeed?
