What is an as-built drawing — and why does your project need one?
An as-built drawing shows how a building was actually constructed, not how it was originally designed.
Changes happen on every project. Walls shift. Pipes get rerouted. Equipment lands in a different spot. The as-built drawing captures all of that — and most building departments won’t close your permit without it.
Without accurate as-built drawings:
❌ Permit gets delayed
❌ Final payment to contractor gets held
❌ Future renovations are done blind
❌ Insurance claims become complicated.
With them:
✅ Permit closes on first submission
✅ Client gets the building record they’re entitled to
✅ Everyone knows exactly what’s in the walls
We produce as-built drawings from your accurate field photos and site notes — remotely, no site visit needed for simple plans.
