Moody French Farmhouse Vibes 🖤🇫🇷✨
I’m back! I’ve been MIA trying to navigate my little one’s teething + 4 month sleep regression but we must be making a little progress because over the last 2 weeks I’ve somehow found the time to finish this baby 🙌🏻 (thank youuuu coffee!) The cooler weather has me loving the darker, moodier hues of ASCP in . 🖤

🖌I fell in love with this piece - it’s curves, cabriole legs, and fleur de lise-esque details.

🖌Sanded, painted, weathered, waxed and then finalized with a touch of gold gild wax for a little extra charm ✨

🖌Table top has been sealed with an olive wood wax to allow for the grain to come through and for provincial french farmhouse vibes. 🥐🇫🇷

Beautiful things can come in small packages! We're totally smitten with this sweet side table made by Paint & Linen!

They wanted the piece to feel rich so the table base was paint in 2 coats of Chalk Paint™ in graphite and finished with some Clear Wax all over. For the table top, they wanted the wood grain show so it was given a nice sand and then applied a hard wax oil wood finish for a timeless look.

Hi everybody! 🙋🏻‍♀️My name is Natasha and I’m the founder of Paint & Linen. This little home based studio has been something I’ve wanted to pull the trigger on for a long time and now that I’m at home with my babies and it seemed like the perfect time to start it. Who knows where this journey will take me but I’m excited to see what will unfold. Here’s a few things about me just so you can meet the face behind this little place.

1. I love the look of modern french farmhouse, industrial, and modern traditional decor and recreate pieces inspired by these looks.

2. The name ‘Paint & Linen’ came from my love of painted furniture and the casual elegance of linen. It breaths in the summer, keeps you warm in the winter and just looks classic + timeless. I cannot get enough and when I find a good deaI, I sneak it into my house in bags! Note to husband .mcnabb.12 , do not open the bags in my closet! ;)

3. I am someone who needs to have their home work. for. them. With kiddos and dogs my decor is very family friendly. My new mama motto is, the more worn in and bumped up the better (aka less glass, more wood and natural materials). It adds character and tells a story. As hubby and I update our little home, we keep this in mind :)

4. Furniture today is not made like it used to be. It’s missing the quality. Painting and restoring brings it back to life and saves it from a landfill. Consider old and restored pieces, a treasure.

5. I use mineral / chalk paint for my projects. It’s forgiving and leaves a beautiful matte finish for that aged patina or weathered look.
