Have you ever made apple roses?
With Ontario apple season here, we’ve been reminiscing about this favourite recipe.
Made with thinly sliced apples, a touch of cinnamon and your favourite fruit preserve, all tucked and rolled into flaky puff pastry, they’re as pretty as they are delicious.
A perfect early fall treat for a lingering Sunday morning brunch, an afternoon cup of tea or a cozy night in.
Cathryn’s Apple Roses
Ingredients
2 to 3 apples
2 tbsp lemon juice
