We provide Ottawa and the Valley residents and businesses with the best lumber available in Eastern Ontario, at reasonable prices. We offer hard and soft woods, and specialty woods upon request. We also build timber frame buildings: sheds, shops,verandas, and more- ask us for more information! We can cut up to 42 feet long on our sawmill. Our goal is to cut the highest quality logs we can get into

standard and custom lumber sizes, and to have it available at a reasonable price. We can help you if you are just looking for one board or thousands of board feet! We will take the time to get you what you want at the best prices we can.

An invaluable Machine at our Sawmill is our Debarker, it cleans the bark dirt and grime off the logs before running onto the sawmill. This process increases the performance of our saw blades allowing them to cut a larger amount of lumber before needing to be re-sharpened again. Debarking also offers an opportunity to see the quality of the logs allowing to see sweep or any bad spots on the log before cutting.

We have had a busy couple of weeks preparing White Pine Timbers for a Timber Frame. There are over 170 Timbers on this load of various sizes up to 8 x 12 x 24 feet long. This load took over two weeks to prepare and sort for transport. We specifically ordered logs of proper lengths for this order to cut down on excess waste. Now on to the next timber order…

We have been busy back at cutting timbers and lumber this week. Everyone has had a nice break. Now we are back to work. We have been cutting 24 foot stock for a timber frame order. The grader is coming Monday. Lots to do!!

We put up a Pergola on Friday it’s not quite done there are a few more rafters to put up and a V-Joint white pine ceiling. The building is 14 feet by 16 feet with a 7/12 slope roof.
Our customer is quite happy with the results. Everything was made by us at the sawmill.

We provided Timbers and Tongue and Groove lumber for a new deck all made out of Eastern White Pine.
The Timbers are up to 24 feet long.
The lumber for the ceiling is 1 1/2 inches thick. It was built by Darren Chambers in Crysler. All the Timbers were graded on site to meet all building code requirements.
We think it looks fantastic.

We received two loads of 20 and 24 foot White Pine logs today from the Algonquin Forest Authority before half loads are implemented on Monday. These logs will be cut for timbers for Timber Frame buildings, these logs will make Timbers as big as 10 x 14 inches and can be certified for grade requirements.

We finished up three timber frame buildings built with 8 x 8 timbers that have mortise and tenon joinery. We also supplied interior v-joint and exterior White Pine lumber siding. These buildings will be loaded onto a sea container and sent to Iceland for our customer who has previously purchased several buildings from us. Looks like Santa made it to the Sawmill and gave us a lot of nice White Pine Logs for us to cut in January. I know my boys will be excited to start cutting these.
