via Ron Beechy review including painted kitchen cupboard pictures

Susan had recommended the use of Aspire Mineral Paint and finish when we had said we wanted to refinish our dated kitchen cabinets. as we are in the Hamilton area Susan put us in touch with Whimsical Furnishings - Clay Chalk & Mineral Paint in Kitchener.
We purchased Gray Inspire as a darker colour and Serenity for the lighter upper cabinets. We used Final Finish as the protective coating.
I removed all the doors and spray Painted each with 3 coats of paint and 3 to 4 coats of finish in the garage and my better half, hand painted the cabinets in place.
Spraying the doors made for a smooth finish something we were looking for.
This turned out to be an excellent DIY project and the paints and help from both Attic Revival and Whimsical Furnishings were invaluable.
We have a brand new Kitchen without the expense. I will add photos once i learn how (Attic Revival added pictures)

yes... painted carpet with Aspire Mineral Paint

If you're wondering how my DIY painted rug is holding up, the answer is GREAT! I got this rug from last summer for $20 and painted it with Aspire Mineral Paint from Attic Revival. It looks the same as it did when I first painted it. Now we just need new floors upstairs. Add it to the list!
