So we’ve been undergoing some major changes here

We are still making the same old furniture you guys have grown to love, but we are also rapidly expanding the farm.

We have heard from so many of you that you miss our stories and seeing our life here on the farm, so we have decided to make a bit of a change. Moving forward we will be changing the name of this platform to @

Along with that we will be launching a website under the name Leighton Valley Farms that will encompass an online store showcasing our handcrafted furniture, ethically raised animals and organically conscious home grown meats.

We look forward to sharing all of the endeavours ahead and we want to send a sincere thank you for all your love and support over the years 💛

Some big changes are happening over here at

We are finding a lot of our followers are missing out on seeing some fun aspects of our life here on the farm and so we are going to slowly be transitioning this social media platform toward a page that encompasses all of our endeavours.

Soon you will be seeing this page change to the name 🤗
You will still be able to see all things furniture here, but with that there will also be opportunity to see life on the farm and all that it entails.

We look forward to bringing you all all along on this wild journey we call raising kids, business building and homesteading. 🤪

Where it all started...
with Valentines Day ahead we are being intentional about reminiscing about where this crazy adventure began.
Karl and I met in Gr. 8 at our local middle school. Let’s just say he fell head over heels from first glance in the hallway (as he says) and I took a bit to get past the greasy farm boy look 😂
He used to chase me around the track and make me necklaces etc. but I was still at the point where boys had cooties. It wasn’t until he left the school that I realized that I was pretty smitten over the strong armed farm boy 🤦🏼‍♀️
We would run into each other at local rodeos, but it never was more than that as we both weren’t allowed to date. Throughout the rest of the high school years we would get distracted with life and others along the way, but random moments would make us both remember who our hearts truly were meant for 😂 One time he almost hit me in his super HOT Toyota Tercel while picking up his sis from school 😆
We both eventually graduated and pursued post secondary life. We met up... this is where the pic was taken and fell head over heels in LOVE!! Due to bad choices on each others parts we eventually lost touch. Karl fell hard into Rodeo and I fell hard into my studies and athletics and we lacked the maturity needed to develop an adequate relationship. We got distracted, but then after a lot of pursuing on my part three years later we met up again. We pretty much decided we were getting married that same day we reconnected as our hearts were not content without one another, but we approached it all with the intention of taking things slow and truly prioritizing each other this time around... 🤪
Well a year later we were engaged... eight months later married and four weeks after our wedding expecting our first baby 😳🤣 Nothing slow like planned. 😆
It’s been six years of investing in one another as husband and wife, six little blessings from God (almost four here with us 🤗 and two in heaven), multiple small businesses on the go and a farm full of animals. Our house is full of happiness amongst the chaos and we couldn’t be more grateful to God for knitting our path so perfectly. We love our love story!
