Hopestill Antiques & Restoration We salvage, repair, paint, repurpose, reclaim, or refinish curbside treasures, antiques, rustic, and vintage with the occasional "build from scratch".

Why "Hopestill Antiques & Restoration"? Hopestill Corey was my 8th great grandmother on my father's side (c. 1692-1729). She was the granddaughter of Chief Minnetinka Narragansett Sachem of the Narragansett Algonquian Tribe in Rhode Island. In 1675, the Narragansett Tribe was massacred by a a military force of Puritans from Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay, and Connecticut. Chief Minnetinka and his wif

e were both killed, but their daughter, Elizabeth, survived. Elizabeth named her daughter Hopestill and I can only imagine why she would have chosen that name. I come from a long line of hardworking, loyal, and honest men and women of faith and want to carry that forward and pass it down to my children and their children. God has blessed me with a gift to create and transform and it is one of my great passions in life. I see it as a reflection of how He created and then transformed my life. You will see a little bit of everything here - antique, rustic, vintage, handmade - I tend to be able to see beauty in almost anything and do my best to pull it out. I am willing to do custom work, as well, so pm me if you have a project for me and I'll let you know if I think I can take it on. Most of my prices are flexible, so don't be afraid to make an offer! Once an item has been sold, it will move into my Past Projects and Fabulous Finds album. Everything is organized into albums, so if you are looking to buy or browse or just get some inspiration, check them out. (aka I tried hard not to keep it but might lol) $350 This is a beautiful old dresser (guessing c. late 1800s) with a stunning mirror, dovetail drawers, very unique handles, castors, and a perfect patina finish. Drawers slide well. The bottom of the bottom drawer is rough so I'd use a drawer liner in it. Dimensions are 36" wide x 18" deep x 34&1/2" high. Mirror frame stands 40" high.
