It is important to make appointments with me through call or text BEFORE coming to my location. Through my *phone number* -- I don't use Facebook often.
To the customer from yesterday: my apologies that I was unable to meet you at the door. I was dealing with a stubborn virus and finally laid down to try to get some rest. I must stress to everyone, please make appointments with me before coming here.
I'm very busy (currently working on a huge order for many very long cushions among many other projects).. I have to book most new projects months in advance right now (unless it's very simple), and getting sick is rough because nobody keeps doing my work and chores for me when I'm down and out. Yes, I'm a business owner, and I strive to avoid excuses.. but I'm also a mother of two young children and have animals--and we have lots of appointments away from home. It makes me feel bad that a potential customer would drive all the way to my location only for me to not be home or unable to meet them. Therefore, your consideration of how important appointments are, is greatly appreciated.
And yes I am working on getting a driveway sign as so many of you have so kindly suggested would be helpful :)
