Sometimes the best storage wasnāt meant to be storage at all.
I started using this old antique toolbox years ago when I lived in my little house on Bishop Street. There was no plug in the upstairs bathroom, so drying my hair meant doing it in the living roomāand I definitely didnāt want my hair dryer, brushes and everything else sitting out for everyone to see.
Soā¦ the old toolbox became my solution.
All these years later, Iām still using it! It now lives in my bathroom and holds my hair things and a few makeup essentials. Closed up, youād never guess whatās hiding inside.
Itās practical, it hides the clutter, and best of all, itās a beautiful old piece with a whole lot more character than a plastic storage bin. ā¤ļø
I think thatās one of my favourite things about decorating a homeāsomething doesnāt have to be used for what it was originally made for.
