Our Pro-Lift FFM-600 electric height adjustable wall mount with floor supports has been gaining popularity in schools as installers no longer need to reinforce walls to install large format panels. This not only saves time and money, but allows for quicker deployment of panels into the teaching environment.

Here's a video providing an overview of how to install it. You'll notice that the unit has 3 sliding stud attachments on the lower third of the frame and the unit is very easy to install. Weight capacity is 225lbs and it can handle panels up to 86".

In the US, the American Disability Act (ADA) has been influential in the mass adoption of height adjustable carts and wall mounts in classrooms.

In Canada, we have a similar act called the Accessible Canada Act which states, "all persons must have barrier-free access to full and equal participation in society, regardless of their disabilities;". With that in mind, please consider using a height adjustable wall mount or cart the next time you purchase an Interactive Flat Panel Display so that it's wheelchair accessible and accessible to people of all heights.

A common misconception is that height adjustable carts and wall mounts for IFP's is only for lower grades for shorter children. What's often overlooked is that adults vary in height and everyone's reach is different.

Before you invest in an Interactive Flat Panel Display, consider purchasing a height adjustable cart or wall mount so that your investment will be accessible to everyone!
