Strong partnerships with our growers form the basis of everything we do at Greenyard. In our Behind the Greens series, we share their stories.
This time, we shine the spotlight on the Vanvinckenroye family from Farm-made in Belgium.
For the Vanvinckenroye family, growing vegetables is more than just a business; it's a way of life. When David took over the family farm in 2008, he and his wife Liesbeth built on generations of expertise while developing their own vision with Farm-made, a concept that combines high-quality production with transparency, sustainability, and family values.
Together with their team and with increasing support from their sons, Daan and Dries, they grow crops such as peas, beans and sorrel for Greenyard Prepared. Their partnership with Greenyard dates back to 2001 and has grown into a strong, long-term collaboration based on trust and consistency.
Sustainability is central to their approach. From investing in solar panels with battery storage to ensuring responsible operations on and around the farm, they continuously balance ecology with economic reality.
As David explains: 'By knowing exactly what we can rely on, we achieve a top-quality partnership with minimal effort on both sides.'
Through their dedication, craftsmanship, and family-oriented mindset, the Vanvinckenroye family embodies our values at Greenyard perfectly, building a transparent and resilient value chain from field to plate.
