Since 2017, the Asphalt Advocate Award has highlighted those who take initiative, support the Asphalt Advantages message, and contribute to a more visible and forward-looking sector.

This year, we are pleased to recognise Mats Wendel, from PEAB Asphalt and Chair of EAPA’s Health, Safety and Environment Committee.

We have an announcement! At the recent General Council Assembly and Executive Committee meetings in Berlin, the EAPA Board elected a new Chair of the Executive Committee, who consequently assumes the role of President of EAPA.
We warmly welcome Slovenko Henigman as the new President of EAPA, alongside Jean-Pierre Paseri as Vice President.
We would also like to sincerely thank Ralf Pomp for his leadership, commitment, and contribution to strengthening the voice of the asphalt sector across Europe during his term as President.
This transition builds on a strong foundation and brings a renewed perspective as EAPA continues to strengthen the voice of the asphalt sector across Europe.
