Bea Joppen (°1966) werkt sinds jaren als zelfstandig stoffeerster. Haar gevoel voor authenticiteit en schoonheid en haar durf dreven haar jaren geleden naar deze bijna met uitsterven bedreigde ambacht. Steeds meer mensen ontdekken de mogelijkheden die er zijn met een oud stoffig zeteltje, ze willen gedurfde kleuren en dessins in hun living of ze zien de waarde in van een restauratie. In 2007 opend

e Bea haar eigen atelier in een oude snoepfabriek in de Kroonstraat in Borgerhout. Na enkele jaren werd dit atelier te klein en in 2013 verhuisde Bea naar een oud industrieel bedrijfspand aan het Albertkanaal in Merksem. Bea volgde naast haar opleiding stofferen ook diverse cursussen kleur- en verftechnieken. Je kan bij haar terecht voor zowel klassiek, modern als gecombineerd stofferen: antieke zetels, moderne salons, losse kussens maar ook totaalprojecten.
