অ্যান্ড্রয়েড অপারেটিং সিস্টেম স্মার্টফোনের চাহিদা দিন দিন বেড়েই চলেছে। স্মার্টফোনে ব্যক্তিগত ছবি, ভিডিও, ফেসবুক, ইমেলসহ বহু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য থাকে। এগুলোর নিরাপত্তার জন্য আমরা ফোনে বিভিন্ন অ্যাপস ও ডিফল্ড সিকিউড সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করে থাকি। এরমধ্যে অন্যতম হচ্ছে প্যাটার্ন লক।

প্যাটার্ন লক, যা সহজে কেউ ভাঙতে পারে না। তবে এতে সমস্যাও রয়েছে। কয়েকবার ভুল প্যাটার্ন দিলে পুরোপুরি লক হয়ে যায় স্মার্টফোনটি। যা ঠিক করার জন্য ব্যবহারকারীকে গুন্তে হয় বেশ কিছু অর্থ। তবে প্যাটার্ন ভুলে গেলে বা ডিভাইস লক হয়ে গেলে কিছু নিয়ম অনুসরণ করলেই তা খোলা সম্ভব।

এক্ষেত্রে যদি আপনার ব্যবহৃত স্মার্টফোনে ইন্টারনেট (ডাটা বা ওয়াই ফাই) কানেকশন করা থাকে তাহলে সুবিধা হয়। ইন্টারনেট কানেকশন থাকলে- প্রথমে প্যাটার্ন অপশনে কয়েকবার ভুল প্যাটার্ন দিন। এরপর একটি অপশন আসবে, ‘Forgot Pattern?’ এটাতে ট্যাপ করুণ। ট্যাপ করার পর আপনার ব্যবহৃত গুগল একাউন্ট অর্থাৎ জি-মেইল আইডি এবং পাসওয়ার্ড চাইবে। ঠিকঠিক মতো ইনপুট করুণ। সফলভাবে জি-মেইল আইডিতে লগইন করা শেষে আপনাকে নতুন প্যটার্ন লক দিতে বলা হবে। নতুন প্যাটার্ন একটিভ করুণ।
অনেক সময় ফোনে ইন্টারনেট কানেকশন থাকে না। তাই ই-মেইল আইডি এবং পাসওয়ার্ড দিয়ে লগ ইন করা সম্ভব হয় না। তখন প্যাটার্ন লক খোলার একটাই উপায় থাকে ডিভাইসে ফ্যাক্টরি রিস্টোর করা।
প্রথমে ভলিউম আপ কি এবং হোম বাটন চেপে ধরুন।
একই সাথে পাওয়ার বাটন চেপে ফোনটি অন করুন। ফোন অন হলে বাটনগুলো ছেড়ে দিন।
এবার অ্যান্ড্রয়েড ‘রিকভারি মেনু’ আসবে। এখান থেকে Wipe data/ factory reset সিলেক্ট করুন। এক্ষেত্রে ভলিউম আপ ডাউন বাটনগুলো সিলেকশনের কাজ করবে।
এরপর 'নো' এবং ‘ইয়েস’ এর মধ্য থেকে ‘ইয়েস’ সিলেক্ট করুন। সিলেক্ট করার জন্যে পাওয়ার বাটন/হোম বাটন কাজ করতে পারে।
মনে রাখবেন factory reset দেয়ার পর আপনার ফোনের আগের সব ডাটা ডিলেট হয়ে যাবে।
'factory reset' সম্পন্ন হলে ফোন রি বুট হবে এবং প্যাটার্ন লক চলে যাবে।
তবে মনে রাখতে হবে বিভিন্ন ফোন কোম্পানির স্মার্টফোনের 'রিকভারি মেনুতে' যাওয়ার জন্যে উপরে বর্ণিত বাটনগুলো কাজ নাও হতে পারে। তাই আপনাকে অবশ্যই জানা উচিত আপনার ফোনে কিভাবে রিকভারি মেনু আনতে হয়। এজন্য গুগোল বা ইউটিউবের সাহায্য নিতে পারেন।
