Workshop of the 2nd Phase of the Sustainable Agriculture Statistics (SAS) Project

On 25th September 2025, the second phase of the Sustainable Agriculture Statistics (SAS) Project commenced with a successful workshop held at the BBS Conference Room. The event was organized by the SAS Project under the Statistics and Informatics Division (SID), Ministry of Planning.

The workshop focused on developing and finalizing the questionnaire for the upcoming agricultural survey, aiming to ensure more accurate, inclusive, and sustainable data collection to support evidence-based agricultural policy planning.

The workshop was graced by the presence of:
-Ms. Aleya Akter, Secretary, Statistics and Informatics Division (Chief Guest)
-Mr. Mohammad Masud Rana Chowdhury, Additional Secretary, Statistics and Informatics Division (Special Guest)
-Mr. Mohammed Mizanur Rahman, Director General (Additional Secretary), Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS)

The workshop was attended by senior government officials, and Solvers was present among the participants.

The workshop brought together high-level officials and experts to ensure the development of a robust and sustainable agricultural data collection process.
