When Andy and I took over in early 2022, we took over a 28 year old, well loved brand, albeit not well known. Barely any money had been spent in marketing; all of the sales came from word of mouth: family, friends and neighbours.

We needed an overhaul of the website, brochures and logo (swipe right for the original logo) to make it more modern and easy on the eye. AMANDA CHETWYND / Small Biz Branding was a friend of a friend, and was recruited as our brand and packaging designer in the first meeting. I think we were allowed two revisions but we didn’t change a thing 😂

Four years later, we spend a bunch more money on marketing, but still our number one referrals are family, friends and neighbours.

I fell in love with the black-on-black look and couldn’t resist adding a valance (even if my husband wasn’t convinced at first!). We’re absolutely thrilled with our umbrella and see it as a fantastic investment.

"I read lots of posts on different options. We tried some cheaper umbrellas but with the Perth seabreeze and nearly squishing kids a few times when they were blown over we finally bit the bullet just before Christmas.
We went the Revolvashade 4m cantilever (360 degree and can be tilted). Really simple install, we installed on top on concrete with base plate screwed in.
Not cheap (~$5000) but absolutely worth it especially with the long warranty.
Can’t recommend more highly."

The time has come when we can't ignore price increases on every side: raw parts, materials, powder coating, labour, freight, packaging - everything and every part of manufacturing is much more than it was four years ago.

We're updating our pricing to reflect where it should be on 1 July. If you were thinking of ordering an umbrella this Summer, please consider putting an enquiry now to secure our current pricing.

If the timing doesn't work for you, rest assured you'll be still be receiving the best quality product we can make with the most modest price increase we can manage. We want to be here for a looooong time, but we can't do that without some changes.

Cute umbrellas only used to come in a small, traditional, centre-pole umbrella. We aimed to change that in our Designer Collection. We wanted you to have both style AND industrial strength, so you wouldn’t have to replace your cute umbrella every season.
