Hi all
It’s been a while since I’ve been on this page! For a little over a year now I’ve often thought about what I should do with this page. It was originally designed as my business page in the creative sphere for furniture upcycling and diy goodies, aka Blessed Vintage. It never felt right to just shut the page down. Life itself paused for me, so it felt fitting to just let it sit. Until now…
Creativity isn’t just art. Day by day we create … our lifestyle, memories, cooking, careers, families and connections to name a few. Society and social media are screaming at us how to be … BUT schools aren’t teaching the real-life stuff. Encouragement feels rare, like it’s from a different time. Common sense doesn’t feel so common. Relationships are falling apart, families are disconnected, and people feel more broken and scattered. Society as a whole feels like it’s hit a low point. The cost of living keeps climbing, and so do rates of loneliness, depression, and su***de.
So … I’m not exactly sure of all the “how’s” just yet, but nonetheless, I’m making a start to offer some kind of hope and encouragement where sometimes there feels like there is none … and particularly I want to reach out to women. It will be raw, real and truth. Knowing me, it will range from light hearted encouragement … to funny stuff … to deep thought provoking posts to encourage and inspire.
So, this page will move from art / furniture creativity to something along the lines of creating ourselves. Very soon I’ll be changing this page name to ___ (I’ll keep that a surprise until then) - so if a new name pops up in your feed soon, it’ll most likely be me 😊
