Our customers have moved from interstate and started renovations on their new family home. We were lucky enough to be part of the journey by providing a new kitchen space with as much storage as possible.

Cabinetry was completed in Polytechnic Classic White Matt with the island bench being featured in Laminex Terrill Natural Finish, and gold handles. Island bench stone displays Technistone Calacatta Silva, which is partnered with Lumina Stone Arctic White stone splashback and wall run benchtops.

What a transformation! It’s amazing to see how a new kitchen can change the whole feel of a home.

This amazing kitchen was accompanied by some minor building works to allow a more open space and larger kitchen for the whole family. With everything from an integrated dishwasher, bar fridge, farmers sink and built-in microwave, this kitchen has it all... including storage.

Our customers selected Classic White vinyl wrap profiled fronts, Technistone Noble Supreme White stone and splashback with a VJ servery panel in Polytec Topiary.

About the business

Liebke Builders is an insurance builder based on the Sunshine Coast and Bold Design Kitchens are a branch of the business. We are looking for someone flexible who can join our experienced team of tradespeople. We set and expect very high standards from our trades to deliver the best possible service to our clients.

About the role

The position will be full time based in the Sunshine Coast area, often working alongside our team of carpenters and other trades. We service South East Queensland, from GC in the south, west as far as Toowoomba and up as far as Bundaberg. During catastrophes, our zones broaden into other districts.

The work we undertake is varied and interesting, including new work, insurance work and renos. Often we replace part of the joinery in a damaged home, retaining and re-installing the undamaged portions. This takes skill, capacity for problem-solving and attention to detail. As you will be working in our clients homes, you must be trustworthy, presentable and conduct yourself in a friendly and professional manner at all times. You will need to be able to work autonomously, both on-site and in the workshop, whilst also being part of an effective team. You will be reporting directly to a supervisor, who in turn reports to the directors of the company.

Skills and experience

Fully qualified Cabinetmakers/Joiners only need apply.
Must have site experience fitting (and refitting) joinery to existing sites, preferably where insurable damage has occurred. Alternately, related renovation experience will be an advantage.
Drivers License - manual
Toolkit – your own hand-tools
Experience with Panel Saw and Edgebander (no CNC)
General Construction Induction (White) card, note: this card was formerly known as the Blue card.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Ability to read and interpret Working Drawings
Availability to travel, regular early starts


The following will be an advantage but are not necessary:

Truck license
Forklift license
Multiple trade experience
