This is an old piece of furniture!
I bet it has some stories to tell!

I wanted to keep this piece as natural as possible. However, under the original stain she had some injuries that required repairs. As a result, she needed to be painted. BUT she’s still come out STUNNING!

Solid timber chest of drawers in a light grey finish. Natural timber drawer fronts with hand-stencilled details.

A unique piece with plenty of storage and loads of character. Perfect for a bedroom, nursery, or hallway.

A well made antique solid mahogany (or Australian cedar) piece, with a warm rustic vibe. Finished with a black wax to show off its wood grain.

🛠️🖌️Sunday evening: Tools down 🫠
Well, this antique mahogany piece is more challenging than I expected! I’ve learnt ALOT this weekend.
Have I made visible progress?
Nope.
Have I made a heap of errors & learnt how to ‘revert’ them?
Yep 🤦‍♀️

I feel this piece will be finished on her own terms 😅

My next piece is a mahogany antique piece 💕 My word, the stain in these antique pieces are ingrained in the wood! If you need me, I’ll be sanding for the next 10yrs 😅
(But it’s going to be worth it!! It’s already looking SO GOOD! I can’t wait to show you when it’s done!)
