Hi all, Lisa's daughter Natalie here.

It is with a shattered heart that I inform you all that my beautiful darling Mum has suddenly passed away on Saturday morning.This was extremely sudden and we are in such disbelief. We are still waiting confirmation but are advised that this was due to a blood clot.

I wanted to thank you all for the support you have given Mum over the years. She loved doing what she did and being there for you all whenever you needed advice. Thankyou for putting a smile on her face and bring much joy to her life.

We are yet to have confirmation of funeral details and due to the current restrictions unfortunately this will be via video link for those who wish to attend.

Thanks to you all again.

Covid-19 update
With all the new restrictions for Melbourne and the state of Victoria, Outdated made modern will only be able to supply your paints and finishing products( website orders). These can be posted each day.
I will be keeping myself busy with some new products and painting a few things,ready for you when all the restrictions have eased. Let's hope this all works.
If anyone needs any help over the next few weeks, please message me.

What's the difference?
Chalk and clay paints are porous and need sealing with a wax or polyseal.
Mineral paint already has a top coat in it. Clean, paint and done.😀

vintage finds

Here at outdated made modern, we find unwanted furniture and turn them into modern one of a kind pieces for your home. We sand,take apart, clean,fix, paint and wax them for protection.This is all done at our home, in the small but growing Victorian town of Wallan. Everything is done by hand and nothing is spray painted. Brush strokes may show, there may be imperfections in some pieces, they are old and well made and have lasted many years and will now last many more.

I am also a retailer for L`essential. They have beautiful products that are all hand made in Queensland. The products are 100% certified eco and health conscious. I stock their Botanics and Ultimate finish mineral paint. I also stock their waxes , stains and other speciality finishes.
