‘Nath Made It’ – bespoke wood products proudly made by Nathan Jones in South East Queensland. What started as a woodworking hobby quickly grew (almost as fast as my tool collection!) into a woodworking obsession. Nath Made It gives me the opportunity to share my love of handmade products and beautiful timbers. I work with a range of timbers including Camphor Laurel, Red Gum, Silky Oak, Black Wattl

🔥 Precision timber work ready for resin infill 🔥

These custom pieces were created using both my 5W UV galvo laser and my CNC machine on beautiful camphor laurel timber 👌

The CNC was used for machining and profiling, while the 5W UV laser was used to deep engrave the timber approximately 3mm deep with super crisp detail and sharp clean edges. Combining both machines gives an awesome finish ready for resin infill and final finishing 🪵✨

The amount of precision the UV galvo can achieve in timber still blows me away — especially seeing that clean depth and detail come through the camphor grain 🙌
