Busselton Furniture Products is seeking an experienced and highly competent Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team in Vasse. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping and office administration and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you!
About the Role:
As our Bookkeeper/Office Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions of our business, working closely with the Company Directors and external accountants. The role offers flexible hours, making it ideal for someone seeking work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Bookkeeping & Financial Tasks:
Proficient in MYOB AccountRight and Single Touch Payroll
Prepare accounts to trial balance and liaise with external accountants
Manage company journals
Complete & lodge BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and TPAR (Taxable Payments Annual Report)
Handle debtor & creditor invoicing, payments, and reconciliation
✅ General Office Administration:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Handle email correspondence, internet research, and phone communications
Perform general office administrative tasks
Assist in day-to-day business operations with the Company Directors
✅ Customer Relations:
Provide excellent customer service, both over the phone and in person
Assist with inquiries and maintain positive client relationships
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
✔ Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping/office administration role
✔ Strong knowledge of MYOB AccountRight and payroll processing
✔ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
✔ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
