Today marks 4 years Heaven side. Thinking of You with Love Nyah 🤍
We thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
we often speak your name.
All we have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
with which we will never part.
The angels has you in their keeping,
we have you in our hearts.
A million times we've wanted you.
A million times we cried.
If love could only have saved you,
you never would have died.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn't go alone.
For a part of us went with you,
the day they called you home.

On June 16 2016, our world came crashing down. At a routine scan to measure Nyah’s growth at 33weeks and 3 days we were given devastating news that our unborn baby girl had a Vein of Galen Malformation, basically a very large brain anuerisym that caused only 10% of her little brain to form correctly leaving 90% non functional. Due to the issue with her brain, her heart was enlarged taking up 3/4 of her chest cavity. A healthy babies heart takes up 1/4 of the chest cavity. Her little heart was working over time. She was showing minor signs of cardiac failure although her tiny body was handing her sickness quite well. I remember thinking why us? What have we done.
After many specialty scans, MRI’s and specialists there was unfortunately nothing we could do for Nyah and the last thing we wanted was for her to suffer as it was inevitable that she would pass away, it was just a matter of time. My husband and I made the hardest decision of our lives out of love, to put our princess to rest medically on the 30th June. On 2nd July at 35 weeks and 5 days Nyah entered the world sleeping, weighing 6 pounds and 48cm.
As a family we believe in the saying ‘Everything happens for a reason’. We do not know the reason we were dealt this hand in life, though she has definitely made us stronger.
Today and always we remember all those little angels gone from our hands but never from our hearts 💕
