This Luna TV cabinet was made using low feature Messmate, giving it a subtle and more consistent look while still keeping the beautiful natural grain and warmth of the timber.

When you order a Messmate piece from us, you can choose between low, medium or high feature, depending on how much natural character you’d like to see.

Prefer things clean and subtle? Go low. Love all the gum veins, colour variation and character Messmate is known for? Go high. Or land somewhere in the middle.

The front door handle might be a small part of your entrance design, but it can completely change the finished look.

Our timber front door handles are handcrafted in our Torquay workshop and can be made from the matching wood to your solid timber door.

Choose the same timber for a seamless look, or introduce a contrasting timber to make the handle more of a feature.

This Addiscott handle is crafted from the same recycled Messmate timber as the door.

Throwback to when getting the perfect product shot required a little more effort…

Over 10 years ago, we decided the obvious place to photograph this TV cabinet was on the rocks at the beach.

Which meant organising a photographer, loading up the cabinet, getting it down to the beach and then having our team carry the thing out onto the rocks.

These days we could take a photo on our phone, put it through AI and have the cabinet sitting on the rocks without it ever leaving the workshop.

But where’s the fun in that?!

And yes… apparently we really did think carrying a solid timber TV cabinet onto the beach was a perfectly reasonable thing to do. 😂

Who says the practical pieces in your home can't also be beautiful?

This bespoke Messmate desk was designed to do a job, but that didn't mean it needed to look purely functional.

An expansive timber top, chunky box legs and a single bank pf drawers tucked kept the design simple and let all that beautiful Messmate do the talking.

After all, if you’re going to spend hours sitting at your desk, it may as well be somewhere that inspires you to work!

Handcrafted from solid Messmate timber, this piece was designed with a combination of cupboards and drawers to give our clients the storage that works best for how they use their bathroom.

That’s one of the things we love about making each vanity to order. The timber, size, layout and storage can all be designed for your space and how you’ll actually use it.

And seeing it installed, surrounded by all the other beautiful details our clients have chosen, is always our favourite part!

Messmate, select grade Blackbutt or Recycled Messmate?
