Upcycling of a different kind - perhaps more re-purposing - young Master Upcycler has been (very effectively) trapping dragons in every day household objects (e.g. under lego, pincered in a toy stethoscope, stuck in his sister's bracelet and wrapped in a slap band). A chip off the old block!

It's amazing what some TLC (and sanding, staining, and repairing) can do! These were all destined to be thrown away, or gifted to charity, but Richard worked his magic and restored them to their former glory (or better!).

Aha me hearties, here be the ultimate example of upcycling! This magnificent vessel started life as a timber deck, but has had a new lease of life as the neighborhoods best* pirate ship. So far it has proven extremely popular with small buccaneers (and their Dads!).

*also the only pirate ship we're aware of... so far. Let us know if you've seen others in your travels!
