All items are traditionally crafted and not mass produced. All furniture is built with personalised attention to detail using strong joinery applications including handmade dovetails, mortise and tenon joints, half joints and feather joints. With over 50 years experience I have acquired many varied woodworking skills and techniques, completing my apprenticeship with some of Australia’s most skilled tradesman. I am a genuine tradesman who qualified with a certificate of proficency in cabinet making and joinery. My knowledge and expertise comes from a background of “old fashioned” methods and applications, with attention to detail that is not found in mass produced furniture. My furniture is handmade in my country workshop in the “Rowsley Valley” situated one hour west of Melbourne. All pieces are crafted from recycled timber, of which, most is usually locally sourced. My furniture is completed to the highest standards in craftsmanship and the finished product being personally engraved on completion.

I have just received a log of very rare Huon pine, this timber was used by convicts down in Tasmania back in the early 1800’s to build clinker hull ships. It’s very hard to buy a decent log now because it’s prohibited to cut it down. This log was dragged out of a lake. If you’re interested in having something made message me.

This table and bench seats I made out of recycled hardwood ( Vic ash) the imperfections like nail hole, etc,have been filled with resin, the finish is a clear satin varnish. It’s 2.1 metres long and 940 mm wide, the bench seats have been made to slide under the table between the table legs.

Handmade chopping board made from 165 blocks of Australian red gum and Australian hardwood ( mountain ash).
Quite a lot of work in cutting and glueing blocks together, it’s 45 mm thick and has been oiled with food friendly oil. nice board to cut on.

Chest of drawers made from recycled Oregon, the feet and nobs have been turned out of the same Oregon, this design is from the old 1930 chests which where built out of cedar or red pine, I’m about to finish this unit in a clear satin varnish. I have built two single beds to match which I will post at a later date.

Would anyone like this handmade glass cabinet in there lounge or kitchen, if so let me know and I’m sure we can work out a deal, it’s built out of re cycled Oregon and been painted in French vanilla.
It’s 900 mm wide 1050 high.
