✨ Custom BBQ Unit – Built to Perform Outdoors ✨

A full Tricoya build — cabinets, doors, and panels all designed for durability in a demanding outdoor environment.

🔹 Fully waterproof construction

This project also required a smarter solution…
The BBQ needed air intake, typically achieved with a front vent panel — but that would have compromised the clean look of the space.

So we engineered it differently:

✔️ Hidden airflow through the base of the doors
✔️ Maintaining performance without sacrificing aesthetics

Finished with:

🍽️ Integrated dishwasher

✨ Corner Sink Cabinet Replacement – Not a Simple Swap ✨

This water-damaged cabinet turned into a serious challenge.

🔹 Benchtop epoxied to the cabinetry
🔹 Waste pipe and power point running through the unit
🔹 Sink and benchtop had to stay in place

No easy way out.

So we worked through it:

🛠️ Carefully broke the cabinet out in pieces
🧼 Cleaned and dried the affected area
📐 Couldn’t fit the new cabinet through the doorway — so we built it in the room with minimal space

And here’s the trick 👇

To keep the benchtop supported, we:
🔩 Propped it up
🔩 Ran hidden screws through the tall cabinet to carry the load
🔩 Installed the new cabinet, then removed the screws to transfer the weight back

Everything reinstated, aligned, and sealed — and it came up spot on.

Just one small detail left to finish off.

✨ 3-Part Series – Corner Cabinet Replacement ✨

A full start-to-finish process — replacing a corner cabinet without removing the benchtop.

We came into this job based on photos and supplied measurements…

But once on site, the reality was different.

The benchtop lipped down over the cabinet, immediately changing the plan.

So we adapted:

🔹 Cut out the kick face to gain access
🔹 Found the benchtop glued to the cabinet — carefully separated it
🔹 Removed the damaged unit
🔹 Discovered mould in the wall lining — cut out and relined the affected area
🔹 Installed the new cabinet by sliding it in and lifting into position
🔹 Reinstated existing kick and door for a seamless finish
🔹 Removed old silicone and applied a fresh seal to the benchtop

Every step required adjustment, precision, and control.
No shortcuts. No panic. Just working through the problem until it’s done right.

✨ Another Repair Completed – Done Properly ✨

What started as a simple scope:

🔹 1 sink cabinet
🔹 Kickboards
🔹 Panels to floor

Quickly revealed something more.

Once we removed the affected cabinets, we uncovered additional water damage and mould behind the wall.

So the process shifted:

🔹 Scoped and quoted the additional works
🔹 Put the job on hold for remediation
🔹 Propped and supported the existing benchtop
🔹 Allowed full access for the remedial team
🔹 Manufactured the new replacement cabinetry

Then completed the reinstatement:

✔️ Installed new cabinets
✔️ Reused existing doors
✔️ Replaced all lower panels
✔️ Resealed the benchtop to the tiled splashback

What began as a minor repair turned into a full, controlled rebuild — handled step by step, without compromise.

The result?

Clean. Solid. Better than new.

With insurance work, we’re often required to match like-for-like — even when the original design isn’t ideal.

It’s not always how we would choose to build it…
But we still make it right.

On this project, what started as a simple repair uncovered additional mould damage behind the cabinetry.

So we adapted:

🔧 Replaced all affected cabinets
🔧 Rebuilt the damaged sections
🔧 Restored the kitchen back to a clean, functional state

The design stayed the same —
but the ex*****on is now better than new.
