A smarter home should mean a simpler one! We loved getting a glimpse into the future of connected living at the Hisense ConnectLife Smart Home Showcase, celebrating 20 years of Hisense in Australia.

From the kitchen and laundry to climate and entertainment, it was amazing to see how technology can quietly take care of some of the everyday admin — giving us a little more time for the things that matter.

For us, that’s what intentional living is all about: not adding more, but choosing things that make everyday life work better.

REAL RENO REWIND 01 - THE KITCHEN

This time last year we were pregnant, renovating and making way too many decisions 😂

The kitchen was the first room we planned and still one of our favourite decisions.

A year on: what worked, what we learnt, and what we’d refine next time. Tips incoming …

Less detours. Less rushing. More time where it matters. 🤍

Charging our EX90 at home means it’s ready when we are, and on warmer days. We can pre-condition it from our phone on the Volvo app before we even walk out the door.

No last-minute fuel stops, no boiling seats - just one less thing to think about in an already busy day.
Everyday life, made that little bit more seamless.

THE RUG NOTE ✨ 01

A rug does more than finish a room - it grounds it.

The right one softens the space, anchors the furniture and creates a sense of calm without competing with everything around it.

For us, a rug should feel like part of the architecture of the room — subtle, tactile and quietly pulling everything together.

Designed to ground, not overpower.

BEYOND BEIGE ✨
Blueprints for a Balanced Home - 05

A Pinterest board will inspire you, but a physical moodboard will inform you.

Bring your samples together, feel the textures, compare the undertones and see how they respond to natural light.

Because beautiful materials don’t always make a beautiful palette, it’s how they work together that matters.

Less is more, but more of the right. 🤎

✨ See it.
🔍 Study it.
📌 Save it.
🏡 Shape your space.

Welcome to Beyond Beige.
