Another cockatoo release ...these guys were found in a really awful predicament....my amazing carer friend Kevin managed to get them both down...the top one flew off at the time and the one at the bottom came into care with me for a short time to make sure there were no constriction injuries. Released this guy after a few weeks in care after being found on the ground weak, unable to fly and some minor wounds under the wings. Even found its flock!

A nice release a few months ago....an eastern spinebill that had been hbc.....short time in care then off it went!

Nice drive out into the country to release this little red rump parrot on Thursday morning....came in bleeding quite a bit and with a broken wing but luckily the wounds were relatively superficial (after locating where they were)and the break wasn't too bad so after about a month in care he was very happy to go! Many thanks to Tania and family for rescuing him! Release video in another post...it was quick!!

A nice release a few days ago....this little one came into care 3 weeks ago after being found on the highway upside down, flapping her wings. X-rays showed no fractures but while her wings were okay she couldn't perch and kept falling to one side. Perseverance paid off and she was released back into her home territory on Thursday! Short video of her release in the comments.
