Role Description:
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse & Delivery Store person to join our busy team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations from unloading containers and assembling furniture to preparing and delivering customer orders. This is a full-time permanent roll, on-site in our Smithfield warehouse. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, and you’ll report directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload containers and receive incoming stock
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
Assemble furniture for customer orders and showroom display
Manual handling/heavy lifting
Operate Pallet Jacks & Forklifts
Stacking & wrapping of Pallets
Carry out local deliveries using company vehicles (valid manual driver’s licence required)
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
Assist in other areas as required
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Manual Drivers Licence
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude
Exposure to warehousing environment & Forklift license is highly desirable
