Does working on high quality joinery for some of Sydney’s leading architects and builders sound attractive?

To be successful, you will need:

🟠Cabinet Making / Joinery experience (preferred)
🟠Ability to read and interpret plans
🟠Produce output that meets high standards and quality workmanship
🟠Be self-motived and work un-supervised
🟠Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
🟠Construction Induction Card (White Card)
🟠NSW Drivers Licence (preferred)

The kitchen island - it's hard to believe they didn't used to be a thing! Today, you'd be hard pressed to find a kitchen without one. Here's our thoughts on what you should consider when designing your island bench.

👉 Functionality
• Prep Space: if you love cooking a large countertop area is a must
• Seating: to create an informal dining area or a space for guests
• Storage: Include cabinets or drawers beneath the island
• Appliance Integration: for example a cooktop, sink, or dishwasher

👉 Choose the Right Shape
• Rectangular or Square
• Circular or Oval
• L-Shaped or U-Shaped

👉 Consider Traffic Flow
• Space Around the Island: Allow clearance on all sides
• Positioning: Avoid obstructing your sink, stove, or fridge.

👉 Materials and Finishes
• Countertop Materials: Choose durable materials such as granite, quartz, marble
• Base Finish: Coordinate the island's base with the rest of your kitchen

👉 Lighting
• Pendant Lights: Install above the island to create adequate task lighting
