In 2005, Peter started Lawler Auto Electrics. In 2007, Krista joined to help run the administration. For the last 21 years, we have been dedicated to providing above standard, reliable, honest and cost efficient automotive electrical and air conditioning service to the Hunter Valley. We have grown from one Troop carrier, to a fleet; from working out the back of a ute, to a purpose built workshop. We have appreciated each employee, each customer and each supplier who has grown with us and supported us on our small business journey.

Now, due to some personal situations back in Krista’s home country of Canada, we have decided to close our business down and relocate overseas. Over the next few weeks, we will be offering our equipment, tooling, diagnostic equipment and parts for sale, along with our workshop for sale or lease. If you are in the market for some high end automotive electrical and air conditioning equipment, we invite you to join us from the 21st to the 23rd May. To make the sale fair and equitable, we ask that you RSVP to [email protected] for a time-stamped invitation at first dibs to what we have to offer.

Thank you to the community who has brought in donations this year. We ask that you please hold on to your wonderful gently used but still delightful children’s clothing and safety equipment until collections resume again after January 12th! ❤️

Our drop off partners close today, THIS FRIDAY, for donations and will reopen in mid January - we’ll pop up a post when they reopen 👍🏻

Our volunteers finish up next week for a well deserved rest, so we won’t be out collecting donations.

We know that the Christmas break can be a time for clearing out and decluttering. PLEASE take a look on our website for a list of what we can, and can’t rehome. We are a children’s charity, so we don’t rehome adult clothing, please check out the website before dropping off your donations 💛

🎄🎄🎄Today we launch our very own little wishing tree in support of We Care Connect and their Christmas Toy Appeal; because every child deserves a little Christmas magic. ✨✨✨
We will have gift tags available on our tree with wish list items for children who would otherwise go without on Christmas morning. Or please call our office on 4057 0497 if you would like some gift tags sent your way. 💕

Please bring your unwrapped gift in to our office by Friday, 5th December. Please no button battery gifts.

Wishing all our valued customers a Happy and safe Easter Long Weekend! Our workshop will be closed until Monday; to reopen Tuesday-Thursday before we pause to pay our respects on Anzac Day.

We will be supporting this wonderful charity again in 2025 as a donation drop off point. If you have any delightful items to donate of great quality used children clothing or new school items for We Care Connect back to school drive, we will be accepting donations from 20th January. Please note we are unable to accept large items such as TV’s, bicycles, large toys, and household goods. Please check We Care Connect for a list of donations they can accept. Last night we got to step out of our hi-vis and steel caps to celebrate the hard work and dedication our team members show each day at Lawler Auto Electrics. We were missing a few faces, but enjoyed smashing some plates and wine bottles, followed by some drinks and great food with lots of laughs and a bit of dancing around the Hunter Valley. We are lucky to have such amazing people supporting our small business continue to succeed into our 20th year.

Holiday Trading Hours:
To give all our staff a well deserved break, Lawler Auto Electrics will be closed from Saturday 21st December 2024 and re-open on Monday, 6th January 2025. We thank our valued customers for their patronage throughout the year and look forward to seeing you again in 2025!
