Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Motor Trimmer / Upholsterer and a motivated Trade Assistant to join our workshop team.

Position 1: Experienced Motor Trimmer / Upholsterer
Do you take pride in high-quality workmanship and attention to detail?
We are looking for a skilled upholsterer or motor trimmer passionate about automotive interiors and premium upholstery craftsmanship.
Your Responsibilities:
• Repairing and restoring car seats, carpets, headlining, dashboards, and door trims
• Upholstery fabrication and assembly
• Cutting, sewing, fitting, and finishing upholstery components
• Working to quality standards and project timelines
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
What You’ll Need:
• Previous experience as a Motor Trimmer or Upholsterer
• Upholstery sewing and trimming experience
• Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Experience with power tools and workshop equipment highly regarded

Position 2: Trade Assistant
About the Role
The Trade Assistant will support upholsterers with preparation work, workshop duties, and general assistance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn a specialized trade, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with material preparation and workshop tasks
• Supporting upholsterers with day-to-day duties
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness
• Following workplace safety procedures
Skills & Experience:
• No prior upholstery experience required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and reliability
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Moderate lifting and physical work required
