Permaculture Earthworks

Permaculture Earthworks Hi I'm Dave. I started out on farms and cattle stations years ago with diversity along the way.

I have been in civil construction since the 90's and am a very experienced and qualified mobile plant operator. I have a love of the land and have completed a PDC and other related courses. I provide services that maximise water catchment, soil productivity, erosion control and all other earthworks as an operator, consultant and/or project manager. As a qualified trainer and assessor, I also offer

a range of operator training. Website coming soon or contact me anytime for all projects or general enquiries 0429168475

Crunching some numbers today:

Amount of water we've used in drip irrigation in the last 5 years: 9,072 M3.

Amount of water we've caught in our earthworks: 44,000 M3.

Assuming a 15% loss to evaporation (which will decrease with time), that leaves a total available of 37,400 M3. Thus we're still storing three times as much water in the ground than we're using in irrigation.

Yesterday Permaculture Earthworks were handed the brief on this project to proceed with the mainframe design. This is such an amazing process to be part of and we look forward to the effort into its creation. We have met some amazing people over the last 12 months who despite having limited land management back ground are brave enough to take on projects of this size with the view to make a difference. The new owners are no exception and we are grateful to work with them. Keep posted ;-)
