I’m back after a few weeks out of action !
This week’s theme in the Aussie NZ Furniture Shop is all about texture and layers so I have chosen to share this piece QUEEN BEE 🐝 Inspired by Bees and Honey 🍯 from 2022 .

Gritty Grunge Queen Anne for this Queen Bee!
Textured , Aged and UNIQUE.

For this piece I used a gorgeous Bee transfer (I love Bees) and lots of texture medium around it and all over to create grungy texture in earthy tones .

Well I’m running a little late with this weeks entry .. a little 😂

Week 40 in the and this weeks theme was where it all started ! This was one of my first paid jobs and a very fun and messy way to start .
Brightly painty chairs with flicked paint all over them . Lots of fun !

This weeks theme in the is all about timber finishes and features .

This set was painted in a crisp Pure white for a fresh coastal feel . I completely sanded the dark stain finish to reveal this gorgeous light natural timber . Sealed in clear coat to protect A lovely oversized set of bedsides for a coastal vibe

This coffee table was already a lovely quality piece . Originally white with the top needing a freshen up.
My customer feeling like a change decided on black rustic with the gorgeous wood top . Adding some funky new k***s on the drawer and a completely new look for her home . With a large custom painted candlestick to match !

I love meeting my lovely customers and creating pieces for their homes .

Anyone who knows me knows I love colours of the ocean Aqua, green ,turquoise and blues .
I loved working on this gorgeous ornate piece back in 2022 to give it a beachy feel for my customers beach house .

I absolutely love these colours and the lovely details of this old piece . Everyone who has walked through the warehouse doors have admired how pretty she is .

This week’s theme in the is all about repurpose and upcycle

This was a beautiful old sideboard that I worked on for customers who were renovating and wanted something unique in their bathroom .

They were converting an old barn into their home. ( How cool!)

They wanted the rustic character of a beautiful old piece of furniture mixed with the luxury and convenience of a modern build .

So gorgeous to combine a unique piece into their build .
